Long before becoming this romantic retreat, this authentic
Mazot Savoyard was once used by the owners of the property to carefully store provisions, tools, and precious belongings through the harsh mountain winters. In those days, these small wooden chalets represented safety, warmth, and family heritage. Every plank of aged timber still carries traces of that history today.
Lovingly restored over time, this former granary has been transformed into a delicate cocoon where tradition meets contemporary comfort. Noble old wood, soft textures, warm lighting, and elegant details now create an atmosphere designed entirely for slowing down and reconnecting.
The contrast between rustic authenticity and refined modern touches gives the Petit Nid d’Amour its unique soul: intimate, comforting, and timeless.

The mazot sits within an enchanting landscaped micro-lodge garden imagined almost like a hidden alpine Eden. Flower-filled pathways, mountain plants, wooden terraces, stone features, and gentle water streams create a peaceful natural sanctuary alive throughout every season.
From sunrise to sunset, birds gather around the gardens, attracted by the biodiversity carefully preserved here. In spring and summer, the melodies of finches and mountain birds become your morning soundtrack. During quieter winter mornings, the silence of the snow transforms the property into a dreamlike refuge.
If you are fortunate enough, you may even glimpse deer wandering discreetly near the eco-responsible watercourse flowing through the garden, a magical scene often experienced at dawn or twilight.
After long days exploring the mountains, skiing, hiking, biking, or discovering the lake and waterfalls nearby, the experience continues in the outdoor jacuzzi of the micro-lodge.
Accessible every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., this peaceful space offers breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding peaks and forests. Wrapped in warm water beneath the stars or surrounded by falling snow, time suddenly slows down.

- The free shuttle set up by Montriond passes directly in front of the Petit Nid d’Amour throughout the summer and winter high seasons. It connects you effortlessly to Lake Montriond, the Ardent waterfall, the Ardent gondola (open summer and winter), Morzine village, and many nearby mountain attractions.
- In winter, two pairs of snowshoes are provided so you can wander through snowy forest paths and discover the peaceful beauty of the mountains at your own rhythm.
