Nestled on the first floor of the "Bel Air" building, this 85m2 abode has been thoughtfully redesigned to reflect a warm and inviting atmosphere, blending elements of "new-brutalism" and "modernism" with a distinct mountain flair.
Conveniently situated just two bends away from the serene Lake Montriond, a short 5-minute drive from the Ardent ski lift, and a mere 8-minute drive from the bustling center of Morzine, this location offers a perfect balance between mountain serenity and access to nearby restaurants and activities.
The fully equipped kitchenette provides a practical space where guests can prepare breakfast using the provided amenities.

Nestled in a serene corner of Montriond, the apartment is ideally situated for rejuvenation. The shuttle conveniently stops right outside, whisking you away to the Ardent parking lot, where the cable car awaits to transport you to the slopes of Les Portes du Soleil, including Avoriaz. Along its route, the shuttle pauses at captivating landmarks such as Lake Montriond, the Ardent waterfall, the village center of Montriond, the Morzine bridge, and the Morzine Church, offering seamless connections throughout the area. Whether it's winter or summer, the shuttle operates tirelessly throughout the day, granting you effortless exploration of the region.
Adjacent to the river and a picturesque trail leading to Lake Montriond, the loft immerses you in the heart of the mountains, enveloping you in the fragrant embrace of pine trees. Keep a keen eye, and you may catch a glimpse of mountain denizens like chamois and ibexes on the northern slopes above the property. As night falls, be enchanted by the possibility of wildlife venturing to the riverbank for a drink—remain vigilant and be rewarded with nature's nocturnal symphony.

The shuttle set up by Montriond will pass throughout the day every day of the high seasons of summer and winter just in front of this apartment for free and will take you to the heart of the village of Montriond, to Montriond lake, to the Ardent waterfall or to the Ardent car park to take the open gondola in summer and winter, the shuttle will also take you to Morzine or other connections can be made with neighboring villages and attractions.

❛ The little story ❜

It is in this very old construction of more than a century that this curious universe was created, it was built at the end of the 1870s by M. Burnoud, a Parisian who came to settle in the village of Montriond with his wife and named this property Chalet Bel-Air.

A meeting place where the inhabitants of the village of Montriond had got into the habit of meet up after work in the fields.

This wonderful house was redesigned under the influence of « New-Brutalism » by René Faublée in the 60s, also author of the Notre-Dame-des-Prisonniers chapel in Avoriaz.

A massive structure, with heavy and raw materials and linear effects, fitted out at that time for a summer camp from the XIV arrondissement of Paris, which became Le Chalet du XVI°!

Many children of the 60s have engraved memories of their first skiing trips in Montriond on this place.

It was also the beginning of tourism in the village and the surrounding, notably as the start of the famous Fantastic Festival of Avoriaz where the stars come to recharge their batteries under a large coat and large sunglasses.

Many of the villagers and shepherds traded their sickles for a pair of poles and began to teach skiing.
